PIZZA & A PANEL


A School Of Ministry Studies event with panelists:

Drs. Jeff Gill, Ken Bickel, Dr. Mark & Carol Soto,
and Dr. Rick & Judy Smith, pastor of Calvary Baptist in Oswego

Friday, April 16 -- 5:30 pm - 8 pm

Join us as we gather at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church to discuss the topic of candidating. This is a School of Ministry Studies event meant to meet the needs of all those planning on entering the field of ministry in the future. We will cover questions such as:

• What in the world IS candidating?!?!?!
• How can I be best prepared and know what questions to ask?
• How do I negotiate my financial package?
• What types of expectations will be on my spouse?

Pizza will be served from 5:30 – 6:15 so come as you can. The panel will begin promptly at 6:30. Our panelists will speak to their area of expertise and then take as many questions as time allows. Other resources will be available that night for you to look at (i.e. ministry job related web-sites, tax material, pastoral retreat centers, magazines, etc.) so be sure to make plans to join us!

If you plan to join us for pizza please make sure you register NO LATER THAN Wednesday, April 14 by 5 pm by emailing the seminary office or seminarywives@grace.edu with number of guests. Childcare is available so please indicate number of children as well, if applicable. To help cover the costs of the evening there will be a donation box provided.
